Charter Schools

ABLE’s Reading Solution is a perfect fit for the over 5,000 Charter Schools serving 1.6 million students. Charter schools are designed as an alternative to public schools.

The goal of many Charter Schools are to bring in new ways of teaching and learning and accelerate the learning
process while delivering quality education at an affordable price.

Like Public Schools, Charter schools are also funded from public school dollars. In return for funding and autonomy, the charter school must meet the accountability standards articulated in its charter. A school’s charter is reviewed periodically (typically every 3 to 5 years) and can be revoked if guidelines on curriculum and management are not followed or if the standards are not met (U.S. Department of Education 2000).

For Charter schools the ABLE’s Reading Solution will produce very effective, high quality reading instruction with measurable results while maximizing labor resources.
